Absolutely not. You don't withdraw until you have an offer and start date in hand.

I'm a teacher and interviewed for many positions this year. I had more than one person saying they definitely planned to hire me, and then either they didn't, or it stalled somehow in HR. I still had plenty of job options and got one I like, but I know for sure that a verbal offer means nothing.

Congrats but like everyone is saying, you’re not done until you have a signed offer and have started onboarding.

Sorry things have been tough. But this sounds like a big win—just wait until the I is dotted.

You do not withdraw until you have a signed contract and are filling out the HR paperwork. Right now you have a verbal promise which is worthless

A friend has had two verbal offers with state government pulled with no explanation since April. It’s really messing with her. OP DO NOT pull anything.

No matter what someone says, until you have a signed contract (and sometimes even then) you have not been hired. Honestly, in this climate I would wait until you have actually started to withdrawal other applications - too many stories of rescinded offers due to budget changes.

If MCPS, do not withdraw yet!
