I worked in an office where the HR VP tried to enforce a pantyhose dress code while his lover assistant walked around the office in a silk lace camisole. The majority of the staff were women, including the president, and he threw in the towel when she walked into the office in a St John knit skirt suit, black patent heels, and...no hose.

I also grew up in California and lots of men where Tevas or similar. Those Adidas slides were popular when I was in high school and college. I don't find that attractive but I don't have a problem with it. It makes sense for an outdoorsy, athletic lifestyle in a warm climate.
