If you can pick them up in advance, that would be one less item to deal with right before your guests arrive - take-out coffee won't stay hot for too long, and coffee which isn't hot is not really drinkable. While purists prefer to grind their own whole beans just before brewing, you could simplify things by buying pre-ground coffee, you just need to scoop a tablespoon per cup into the filter, fill the water tank with the correct amount of coffee, and press the start button. Borrow a second filter in case people want more - you can quickly make a second pot, if need be.

But then we have a non-coffee-drinker making the coffee in a cheap coffee maker. That could turn out badly in a lot of ways. Let Starbucks do it.
You think Starbucks is not cheap coffee?![]()

+1 any of these options are fine and one box will be fine.

Having sugar, sweetener and half and half for guests is probably enough. If any of them are non dairy you could have a non dairy creamer. But don’t overthink it too much.
I’m a coffee drinker but drink it earlier in the morning. I might drink it again later but if you didn’t have the right kind of coffee I’d skip it and be ok.
