I ordered some short-sleeved v-neck linen shirts (not button down) from an Etsy seller in Latvia that I like. I got the shirts in black or dark red, so they pair well with shorts or skirts I have.
They are really high-quality linen, not like the flimsy stuff you get from normal retailers these days. They wash well and are cooler than cotton tees. They also don't get super rumply looking like poorer quality linen.
Just an idea.

Bella and Canvas 3005 unisex jersey short sleeve V neck t shirt.
Warning: They are huge until you wash/dry them the first time. So flattering, great quality. None of the short/boxy/holey mess you get from other retailers like jcrew and ll bean and target. You can buy them online from shirt retailers that cater to silk screeners like jiffy.com and shirtspace. Also very economical (8 dollars? a shirt) and they have all the colors (vs fashion retailers where u are constrained by whatever color scheme they pick for the season)

I only wear LLBean Pima cotton tshirts now. They come in different styles, but the fabric is smooth, the color is saturated and they wash well and don't pill like cheap tshirts. If you are in between sizes, size down.
