Some parents are just obsessed and monitor all the kids, which is creepy and take the fun out of swimming.

And I guess I still don’t understand how the top three times work (and I read the blurb on the MCSL site that was posted here).
Say we’re looking at the boys 8U free for Team Whoever.
Larlo - 20.00
Larlo - 20.04
Larlo - 20.78
Darlo - 21.18
Farlo - 21.69
Do they take the median of the three Larlo times, or the median of each of the best times for Larlo, Darlo, and Farlo?
Assuming these are the top times in the event for that team in the 5 weeks, Larlo’s 20.78 would be used as the Freestyler #1 spot for the virtual meet, because it is the median #1 time for the team. The median is chosen agnostic to name of the swimmer. The median process would repeat for swimmers 2 and 3.
But then how it would it repeat for swimmers 2 and 3? Even with the maximum number of recorded times in any event, wouldn’t the median always be the same? Or does the algorithm toss the times faster than the first chosen median?
I’m probably showing my total lack of math comprehension here.

Not Darnestown?
Darnestown beat Country Glen in the Relay Carnival and Dual Meet
Both teams could move up
Doubtful. River Falls struggled but they’d still beat up on anybody in B. A Division is just light years ahead of B. I’ll bet one team jumps up to take Potomac’s place and that’s it.
The place where it always gets interesting is D-F. Teams are all interchangeable there and there’s usually some weird and significant movement.
