I didn’t realize tickets were already on sale!
I went last year for the first time and it was crowded but my kid had fun.
Oversold like everything else these days.

I went a couple times in college and really enjoyed it. Reading the comments about the crowds I'm kind of glad I never got around to taking my kids.

The people who love it love it.
I’m still sad the comedian juggler guy died a few year ago. He was so good.
I like it but dislike the people who are all about boobs and beer. I wish it was a more serious cosplay event focused on medieval and renaissance stuff, including LoTt stuff but not Star Trek stuff (which I also love but it’s a different thing!).

That brought back a 30 year old memory. Last time I was there was with a friend of mine, we stopped at the beer tent and one of the servers had a badge that read Big Tips, the other server had a "Medium Tips" badge, I told my friend that there was a job opening available for her.

I worked there when I was a teen. I had easily outgrown it by the time I was 20. I've only been there a couple of times since then and I can honestly say it's the same shtick from year to year. If you've been once, there's no need to go again unless you dream about eating food on a stick.
