You may want to seek therapy or counseling OP.
It's very weird your dh doesn't want to buy a place to live. Make sure you are saving your own money under your own name, because otherwise you could end up with no assets or savings.
Make a plan for what you want to do when the kids become adults and / or finish college, especially if nothing changes. Do you have a retirement plan? A 401k?
