Subject: Do you encourage (aka force) your kids to do the same sport?
I let mine sample a variety of sports in ES, but they ended up picking the same sports (soccer and track, though one also plays basketball). Not surprising, since they’re twins and have similar abilities and interests.
Having them in the same sport makes things easier from a scheduling and equipment standpoint, but they get competitive with each other sometimes. They want coaches to see them as individuals, not identical replacements for each other. They avoid doing the same events in track and play different positions in soccer.

I think it’s ok to introduce the kids to the same sport and encourage them to pursue it as it definitely makes things easier logistically… I would stop there and definitely won’t push the child to keep pursuing a sport they aren’t interested in though.

I let my kids pick their sports individually. They picked the same ones.
