“Canadians and Americans hate each other?” This might be a YOU thing, or a You People thing. I don’t hate Canadians, and don’t know anyone who has negative opinions about Canada or Canadians — barring the occasional joking sports rivalry.
My visits to Canada have all been lovely, the Canadians I know personally are wonderful people, and a significant chunk of my disposable income has allowed me to purchase some of my favorite things from Canada and Canadian companies.
On the other hand, if any Canadians are hating American right now, well, I completely understand.
