Most countries did this when canceling citizenship by birth.

So since 2004 he has not obtained legal residency or status in the USA? Not even via a formal employer?

His own 1099 mow&blow sub contractor business can’t do that. As you already know, it’s just a tax chiefs haven to buy f150 pick up trucks and gear.

Which route(s) did he supposedly apply for a green card and were any valid given his situation?

This is the part that so many don't understand. So many people think that if you marry a US citizen, you automatically get a green card. That's not true and not how it works. That process can still take years. And becoming a naturalized citizen can take even longer. I know someone who has been working toward that for 7 years now.


Wrong.

No where is it clear he married a U.S. citizen.

And if he had he would have had a spousal green card and at any point after three years could have chose to take a citizenship test, and be in the hook for SS taxes.

It angers me that people who come illegally are jumping the line. We should not be rewarding them.

Contact an immigration attorney on their behalf ASAP or your local ICE OUT organization, they have access to immigration attorneys who are very effective. They might not have a legal advocate and getting them one now can make all the difference.

Stripping citizenship is trump ultimate goal. In fact. He wants to deport US citizens who are born to US citizens.

Apparently. There is a daily quota. Contact the media and see if you can get a story out and that ICE is detaining people who are here legally and are not criminals. Use social media.


How do you know he is here legally?
Sounds like he isn’t if he has been detained.
