I did that too once before. I wasn't sure what had happened so I drove back to see, the poor bird, the whole visage was horrible. I still think about it and wonder if I could've avoided that somehow, was I on autopilot, or not careful, or did it fly right in front? I wasn't even sure.
Yeah, I know it was a bird, but I still feel awful.

My sister once had a squirrel run out under the tires of her bicycle. She came home and threw up, it was awful.
