I hope so. I do not think the Dems are planning to go after republicans if they win. We need to move away from these moderates. Trump has shown us what EO can do if there is a will. We could arrest and deport a lot of republicans, Fox News talking heads/producers, take over Twitter, arrest SCOTUS on bribery, etc. There is just no will or desire to make nice and ignore what these republicans have done.

It is time to strike back at republicans with the tools they use on US citizens. Birth right citizenship can be stripped from Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. ICE and the national guard can move in to Texas and Florida.

There's a huge space for a third party that actually addresses the issues that American care about. But unfortunately, this is systematically a two party system. Only a charismatic billionaire has a chance at a viable third party candidacy. And that's not great either. In the meantime, the big tent party does better - and that is definitely not Democrats today.

All of those things are still important to progressives, but you'll have to excuse our concern for an ongoing freaking genocide.

Here's the thing...Gaza isn't the only place that "genocide" is happening or will happen. It's happening in other places too like Sudan. But that's not plastered all over the news. Progressives only seem to care about genocide in Gaza. Why aren't they protesting ALL occurrences around the world of genocide?

LOL. You mean those “extreme progressives” like Joe Biden?

I don't think he "personally" was an extreme progressive (I voted for him in 2020). But many Democratic policies and values have become too extremely progressive. That being said I did vote for Harris in 2024 as an anti-Trumper....lessor of two evils vote.
