We use the 1st time funny, 2nd time silly and 3rd time annoying rule, too. (I like stop better!) I read it in a Ramona book a few years ago actually and I think it’s great advice for everyone.

My 7yo also does this and I’ve adopted the phase my mom used to use— first time funny, second time silly, third time stop it (tbh my mom would say “third time stupid” but my 7yo would get too caught up on stupid being an unkind word so I changed it). It gives her a good rule to follow
