I don’t know…it’s unclear how difficult it may be to add some STEM to your Tepper degree but there are definitely more hedge funds recruiting at CMU than NYU (yeah mainly after the STEM kids). Like a ton more.
BTW…it’s funny you say go to CMU vs NYU for drama as NYU has even more locational advantage for theatre (and also a top ranked program).
Finally, OP you want to ask about the alumni network for the sport and which school has a stronger/more dedicated group. It really may not matter which school you pick if say the CMU alums are successful and love to give internships and jobs to current CMU athletes.
Oh boy. You are making an argument for the sake of arguing.
OP's son is an athlete, not a math nerd. He will never in his life time go to Jane Street doing quantitative.
Citadel will recruit from CMU math or SCS, not from Tepper.
It's a non-question that runs two pages long.
The alumni network for the particular sport and how rabid they are is one of the most important factors in this decision.

DC interested in business major - between Tepper and Stern undergrad, what are thoughts comparing the two in terms of overall education, prestige in the job market, and outcomes? heard stern is pretty cutthroat in general, is tepper similar? thx
Congratulations. Unrelated to academics, but is your kid's practice/game facility near Washington Park? I just know baseball has to make a treck from Manhattan down to Coney Island.
