That's pretty clear.
You forgot to write NP first.

Anonymous wrote:NP (New Poster) is a poster new to the thread.
PP (Previous Poster) usually is the poster right before your post but that can be clarified by adding an adjective or time of post.
DP (Different Poster) is not the previous poster (PP) but has commented earlier in the thread.

Yes we all know that. What we don't understand is whether some of these posters are the OP, or claiming to be the OP, or responding to the OP.
When I write a text message that says
Larlo, please clean your room before you go to practice.
People understand that I am speaking to Larlo.
But some people seem to write OP, blah blah blah when they are in fact the OP. Or they write OP blah blah blah, or OP. blah blah blah when neither of those makes grammatical sense whether they are the OP or are talking to the OP.
So, it makes more sense to either say OP here, or write I am the OP, or to sign it -- OP.

Anonymous wrote:OP here. When you are the OP and replying in your own post don't just put:
OP - blah blah blah.
You could either BE the OP or you're addressing the OP. I can't believe how many people do this.

I see what you did there OP/PP.
