The new principal is phenomenal - teachers are happy - parents can be demanding - overall I do believe it is looked upon as a great place to work

I went to an "open concept" school like this that was built in the early 70s. Yes, you could hear the other teachers in addition to your own. It was distracting at times, but we dealt with it.

I can’t imagine this.

Feels like it’s due to being 50 years old without renovations. Given the excess capacity at the nearby Churchill ES, they ought to close this school down and move kids around in those schools. Like move a bunch of Wayside ES to Beverly Farms or Bells Mill and then combine Cold Spring at Wayside and send the new Wayside to Wootton.


They have bookcases for barriers.

It's really nasty for people who don't like chaos. I hated it for every minute that I visited, but most of the kids seem fine with it
