What does this mean? I’m a petite person and look like I was swallowed by fabric when I try to wear things like this. These dresses are just not attractive for a huge segment of the population.

Of course it doesn't look like a wedding dress. White is a great color for summer/beach. And this isn't being worn to someone else's wedding, so who cares??

No, not a wedding dress. But it looks like at least part of it is polyester. Would be afraid it will look awful once you try it on.

LOL, it's nothing like a wedding dress.

I look bad in billowy dresses like that, but I've seen them look cute on other people. I like the denim jacket idea.

I like it, especially with a jacket over it (by itself it does look a bit like a nightgown).

However, the review photo with the inner pocket visible through the dress makes me wonder if your bra and underwear will also be obvious.
