If it’s a friend‘s wedding or the kid of a coworker I would absolutely ask someone I was dating for only a couple of months, it’s just a fairly elaborate date at that point and you get to see them really dressed up which is kind of fun.

There is zero chance I would take someone I was only dating for two months to a family wedding, I’m pretty sure if she met everyone she would politely decline any future plans.

I wasn't personally invited to have a date to a wedding unless we had been together for a year.

I think it's too soon.

I once went on a first date to a wedding. We were co-workers, and knew each other for about a week beforehand. It was a ton of fun - no pressure at all. The relationship didn't work, but not because of that.

Totally fine for a coworker/acquaintance wedding. Too soon for family or close friend wedding.
