If there were really 10 million people with no background checks in the country, then it should be shooting fish in a barrel to root them out and get them out of the country, right? So if that is the case, why is ICE detaining people who are going through the system legally, as well as people with VISAs and Green cards?

Seems contradictory, no?

Harris moved to the center and lost and turned off the progressives in the meantime. Hillary was a centrist and lost, turning off the Bernie supporters in the meantime.

I don't think your assertion is accurate.

It seems to me the public wants a bonafide populist from the left. That is what Trump sold, but obviously is a liar and charleton.

I agree that the Democrats should move more center but, building on your point, Americans don't want want the GOP/MAGA is selling either. They need to move more center as well. The Democrats will win in 2026 and 2028 as the political pendulum naturally swings.


The center doesn’t necessarily mean status quo, incremental change at the margins though. It actually might mean bold proposals that make life better for people in the center of the bell curve.

I agree that the Democrats should move more center but, building on your point, Americans don't want want the GOP/MAGA is selling either. They need to move more center as well. The Democrats will win in 2026 and 2028 as the political pendulum naturally swings.
