What raw MAP M score for compacted math recommendation?

We just received an email from the school that our DS has been placed into compacted math.

No. Decisions are made at the end of the current school year at latest summer. They school will be planning classes before start of new school year.

We still haven't heard at our school. I'm concerned as my kid had one low MAP-M that was an outlier but it was the most recent. Anyone have experience with how they weigh the different factors?

We were notified via email from our principal on June 6. Our school is a CES site.

We got ours in backpack on 12th.
