It is a longstanding rule of the left, you do not condemn fellow leftists who are engaging in alternate means.
There are as many Dems who have condemned violent riots since 2020 than there are Republicans that have condemned Trump for pardoning criminals who forcefully breached security at our nations Capitol Building. Needless to say and as usual with most issues, neither party has established moral high ground when addressing issues that become partisan in nature.
