Peaceful nonviolent protests in large numbers is our only hope at saving our country. Trump has commandeered the state to serve his personal interests and the Republican electeds have followed like brainless sheep. We can’t assume Trump will allow the midterms. Lessons from other fledgling autocracies tell us that large scale peaceful protests are the only hope to save America.

Folks, this is someone scared and desperate. My MIL was nervous to go thinking it would be negative energy. We chatted with all our neighbors next to us, told stories, waved at people honking in support. It will positive vibes. Do not be swayed by this talk.

You can also drive up and down past street protests and honk and wave in support. Lots of people hold signs from cars, so it’s a great way to involve young kids.

The whole point is NOT to be in DC. I was among those who argued against anything being organized in DC for a number of reasons. In the last few protests I have attended, there are people in MAGA hats stirring up trouble, creating conflict. We should not be in the same city as a military parades. It would be a nightmare.

Besides, Trump would take credit for every protestor and pretend they came to his fascist parade.

Not really because there will be so many smalls ones spread out.

This will be my 3rd anti-Trump protest (the first two were in DC). They were entirely peaceful, with no opposition.

I think if you are alongside a busy road, some people will communicate disapproval.
