This is a bit silly though. You have two kids. Not once did you become sick or even tired or even annoyed that you asked your spouse to step up? You are not a bad mom BUT you need to seek help if you feel bad for taking an afternoon to yourself. And yes, no sympathy for taking a weight loss drug and then feeling sick for being on it. You have time to sit in bed then you have time to exercise 🤣

When I get sick I get weepy and sad, and I just feel bad — like deep down bad — about everything. Maybe that’s where you’re at, op. You’re just sick, though. Your body needs to take a break, because it’s busy fighting an illness. That takes work.

Hang in there and feel better.

Considering she feels guilty for having her husband be an involved parent, something tells me she doesn't get much love and attention at home.

Hi, I'm the OP. My spouse is picking up dinner from Whole Foods - salads. But wow, has this thread ever been eye-opening. I came here to just vent anonymously to some fellow parents who might get it. What a bizarre, strange, sour string of replies that reveal way too much about the animosity and sadness that people can harbor deep within and channel toward a stranger.

You're just mad you got called out for being so attention seeking

Not a bad mom. Put the phone down, rest. You’ll feel better soon.

If you have a girl, you're teaching her how to be a martyr and to be walked all over.

So yeah, that makes you a bad mom.

I think you're taking this a tad far.

Not really. Imagine thinking you're a bad mom because you ask your husband to take care of the kids because you're sick. Obviously he never does it or it wouldn't be this much of a big deal.

"A big deal" = posting on a random forum? Have you seen the minutiae that gets posted on Reddit? Posting something doesn't really make it a big deal, but such an outsized response online is tres curious!

Of course you're not a bad mom. Take care of yourself.

I'm sorry you're going to get hatred for taking Zepbound, I wish you'd left that off because people here are so nasty about weight loss drugs.
