Now, the President could have scheduled the Military Parade on a different day since all of the graduations were scheduled long before his offensive and anti-democratic (not to mention destructive) parade.

The drive from my house -- right now, mid day, no unusual traffic, not everyone else in the neighborhood trying to get to the same place at the same time along the same traffic route during a stupid military parade -- if over an hour. I literally could get to BWI or Dulles faster right now.
I would argue that when this post was written close to 4pm is not 'mid-day traffic' - but more rush hour traffic. And even with that, it is still way closer than Baltimore. It is a nice arena, indoors, and probably allows more family members to attend, as was stated above. Believe it or not, you will survive the drive across town and across the river -- it is not the end of the world. Traffic will be annoying, but you cannot blame that on the school or DCPS.
