Subject: How is Mathnasium for pre-algebra?
OP here. Thanks for all the input! Right now I’m thinking of Mathnasium or a low levels tutor who will come to sit with him while he does an online or packaged curriculum. He will likely not do an online curriculum on his own and I don’t have time to sit with him.
Still considering RSM, perhaps for during the school year.

Depends on the class format.
DS did a live, video on-line class in 3rd grade and enjoyed it. He wanted in person classes though and RSM was closer so we switched to RSM.
Last summer, DS did a class that was on-line, bulletin board/chat discussion. It was fine but he was not excited by the format and has decided not to do those anymore.

Anyone has experience with Aops online vs in-person? Are the online classes as good?
