I once dated someone more interested in sports radio and games on TV than I was, and it ultimately broke up over it. Fortunately, it was only a few months wasted.

Maybe you need to find another tv loving couch potato? You don’t need to enjoy all the same hobbies, but someone who won’t expect much more than you being a lump on the couch is probably a better fit.
