I don't think he is phony at all. I think he's very genuine and is super smart yet can communicate to others.

He hid that he was gay for years. He does communicate well, but he is not a good candidate for Dems.

Weird that your reading comp is so bad. He says he doesn’t want to necessary be on the ticket, but wants to help to push the right people up.

Sounds smart to me.

Did Harris mess up?

Is Walz an answer for 2028? He says he’s not necessarily running but wants to be there helping get the next Dem elected.

Thoughts? Anyone have a gift link to share here? I’m out

The governor says his party needs to be meaner.

"I'm getting called out on this because I called Donald Trump a wannabe dictator. It's because he is. It's because he is. 'Oh, the governor's being mean and the governor's speaking out on that.' Maybe it's time for us to be a little meaner. Maybe it's time for us to be a little more fierce," he said.

I agree. Look where going high when they go low got us. The political climate has changed. Politics now isn't the same as when Obama was running or in office. Everything changed after Trump 1.0 and so much more is fair game now than ever before. Also, Trump has opened the door for revenge politics, so our next Democratic President needs to keep up that energy. Dish out some revenge politics just like Trump has done. He opened the door, so we need to go through it, and then shut it mid-cycle and make sure we get 8 years of a Democratic President to reset things. But we cannot take office in 2028 and keep up the "go high when they go low" energy. It doesn't work anymore.

Did Harris mess up? Is that a serious question?

It's pretty obvious that Harris didn't want someone who would outshine her. I don't know how much of that can be attributed to her condensed, haphazard, short campaign after Biden withdrew.

I don't think Waltz is a Presidential pick, though. He has great side-kick energy and I think he could really help the 2028 candidate as the VP pick.

IMO, the Ossoff/Buttigieg ticket should be the Dems pick for 2028. More people need to be paying attention to Ossoff. He's a fantastic speaker, very charismatic, and can relate to the common people.

A Jewish guy and a gay guy? Too much. Pick one or the other.

✅Ossoff
I love Buttigieg. He’d be a great VP, but you may have a point (sadly).
I somewhat like Walz. Quite turned off by his mild Harris slap down. Don’t bite the hand that fed you vibes. He’s a no for me. Regardless, he’s not the ticket.

Bite the hand that fed you? That would only make sense if Harris was out there working. I get the impression she's been in her cups since November.

Yeah, he basically says he wants to be a side kick.

But, who would be his VP pick?

He was doing pretty well before the Democratic consultants got involved. After that the campaign seemed dorky and contrived.

Whoever runs, just let them run.

The one thing democrat voters seem to be able to agree on is that their consultants are terrible.
