I know, right? Normally, I think we would know more by now. I think the current uncertainty with international students is contributing to the silence re: waitlist. UVA doesn’t know yet how it will play out and whether they will have space to fill.


W&M has been full for multiple weeks so I'm not surprised UVA might also be


An honest question: Does W&M have the percentage of international students that UVA does ? I would be surprised if it does.

Dean J is very transparent. If you go to her Thursday IG/TikTok videos she’s very clear that WL kids shouldn’t get their hopes up. She will announce any WL movement, and also when there won’t be any more offers, on her blog.

Doesn't that slow things down for the kids who really want a spot? Just withdraw and move on.

Way back when, one of my kids was deferred to UVA ED then admitted RD, while another was waitlisted RD and ended up getting in off the waitlist in early June. Looking back we were a pretty lucky family eh?
