My guess is that the $500K is an exaggeration, but still seems like lots of effort. The pics from 2021 don't look that bad; I actually prefer the way it looked back then.

Maybe because the economy is in the shitter and lots of people have lost their jobs? Divorce? Unexpected death? Job relocation? So many reasonable explanations.

Interesting for Arlington, it’s a Victorian so it’s supposed to be sort of doll house-ish. Looks nicely done and not a flip. Big lot. Too much repeating green-grey I think. To have gone through this expensive of a rehab, some more variation through the house would have been nice.

This is gonna sit. Not many buyers for this niche product, and things are cooling down.

This looks like something, my 12-year-old daughter would do on the weekend.

I don’t really like to. Doesn’t go with the time period of the house, but some of the pieces like like Serena and Lily or Ballard designs.

This does not look like an interior designed house.

I like the colors and wallpaper chosen. I've never wanted to live in a victorian though.

This is, unfortunately, accurate.

If that was done by an interior designer, you don't want that interior designer.

+1. I really hope that a "designer" is not responsible for the choices here.

+2 it looks like a trying to hard flip of a beautiful home with a bunch of potential. The gold hardware on white cabinets in the kitchen….surprised they didn’t throw in a farmhouse sink

Would be curious to see what interiors people love if they absolutely trash the one OP posted.
