Have you tried farmers markets? There was plenty at the one in Garrett Park last weekend if you’re local.
The same market had peaches from one of the Carolinas, and they were delicious.

This time of year I eat my weight in asparagus and strawberries. Every day. Also love the artichokes and rhubarb. My sugar snap peas are ready to eat. Soon I will be overdosing on beets, then the cherries and blueberries will start to appear, and after that the corn, watermelon, squash, cantaloupe…. I love it all in season!
