Subject: FY26 budget proposal - any surprises?
I think most of the cuts regarding employees is mostly at the central office. They have done that for the last few years to help pay for the raises that the various school-based employees get through their unions. (And central office employees along with other dc gov't non union employees haven't had a cola-raise since 2022.)

Yes. Teachers are more expensive now so even with thr budget increase people are being excessed. I think it’s happening at pretty much every school.
