Today’s Wall Street Journal contains an opinion piece from the editorial board that urges the Senate to take action on Russia. It’s clear they don’t think that Trump himself will do anything—despite his recent rhetoric—so they’re urging the Senate to act. Not holding my breath that anything will happen. I think we all know by now that the GOP has been effectively neutered by Trump and will not do their job in the house and senate.

Putin is having problems and the Chinese support is not as strong as it is depicted in the press. Russian banks are failing, Putin is killing bodyguards, generals plotting, arm manufacturers want more war, low oil prices, no results on the battlefield, etc.
