I had a red face and white neck for a while and it turns out I was using products the wrong way, causing irritation.

Try a green color corrector. I am a makeup artist by trade and keep the Erborian C red corrector in my kit that works wonderful for both makeup wearers and non-makeup wearers. It’s also very user friendly in that you can apply with your fingers like you would a moisturizer

I swear by this. I can often wear it alone, but do add some foundation if I have to be at something professional.

It’s fine. People pay good money to get more circulation in their faces. You look youthful. Embrace that

Not all red faces are alcohol or rosacea related. Some of us are just pinker than others! I’m one. I will wear a light powder foundation to even out my skin tone without doing a full face of makeup. Just a couple swipes with the brush and I look more neutral.

A good skincare routine is important so that you aren’t ADDING to the rest through irritation. And sunscreen of course.

Get tested for SIBO, which causes rosacea and a red face. If you do have SIBO and kill it, you will eliminate the red face.

A red face is rosacea. The only thing that can make your skin red is the blood in blood vessels. Lasers can help reduce skin vascularity (pulse dye laser) thereby reducing redness. All this other stuff people are mentioning is just camoflage for an underlying issue, which is rosacea.
