Suggestions for rain/wind pants that worked well? Did you by running gear ones? Know those can get pricey fast. $50 sounds great- brand?


DP but I bought from LL Bean (10% off this weekend). Pro tip--if you are petite, the kids XL may fit and they're cheaper. I'm 5'3", 115 and they worked!

mine won’t wear raincoat, haven’t tried yet but was thinking to use nikwax on it- maybe wouldn’t do if full grown but since will grow out of jersey before it wears out…. Anyone tried?

REI has a cover for backpacks that i've seen kids use. But most use a trash bag.
