I usually feel the same. I normally love travel planning and feel downright giddy before overseas trips.

Felt very different this year, but DH really needs to get away, so we are going, and I haven’t had the pleasure of travel anticipation At All this time around.

Maybe OP’s enthusiasm will help me remember how lucky I am to have the privilege of a trip.

I just want to stay home with the dog.

I look at what I was doing two weeks ago. then, I know how much time has passed since then and I know how long I have to wait. I do it every day, it helps to see how time moves.
