isn't this completely irrelevant without the years?
I made $25,500 in 2002 first year out of college.
I now make $160k, 23 years later.

Age 25 in 2015: $65k (no bonus)
Age 35 in 2025: $152k (5% bonus)
Probably would be a bit higher but I took a mommy track job after my first was born a few years ago. One of the better decisions I've ever made.

1st job- started at $55k (I was thrilled with that)
13 yrs later- $98k. Still pretty happy with that although it doesn’t stretch very far.

My kid is 22 starting out at 80; how times have changed.
Given that 35k in 1995 adjusted for inflation would be ~74k in today’s dollars it actually doesn’t seem they have that much.

First job out of school: 80k in 2001. Got laid off after 9/11 and took me a few years to get back to that level. Was making in the 130-150 range in my early 30s.
