Royal isn’t the same as Carnival.

And Disney is only fun with kids who enjoy Disney. Most of us graduate to Royal or Celebrity.

This is true, but OP should understand that if he/she goes this route, DCL will not engage them directly. Everything has to be done through the travel agent.


This is true but only to a point. You would only need agent to change the date or add a room or a person and then a quick email to the agent. OP would still handle check in, excursions, speciality dining.

For Disney it is dumb not to have an agent. You are giving up free money in terms of the onboard credit.

A week on a Disney Cruise in the summer is minimum $10k for a family of four. If that is “ghetto” to you that’s…curious.
