most of parents? it's just you! None of us were caught by surprise! this was clearly communicated well in advance. Just move your kid to gen ed, and let the advanced students be in programs that meet their needs.

this is wrong. I have a fourth grade AAP student and he took the fourth grade SOL. My fifth grade AAP student took the sixth grade sol

Same question! I have a 4th grade AAP student at center and see no indication that it was a 5th grade SOL.

My 4th grader in AAP at a center took the 4th grade SOL. Next year they take the 6th grade SOL.

PP here. It’s not wrong. I have a 4th grade AAP at a center school that took the SOL Grade 5 for math. This is confirmed by the results that show it was for Grade 5. The school notified everyone this would be the case back in March. However, I’m getting the impression that it was not a county-wide decision and maybe more of a pilot for some schools.

Did all 4th Grade AAP take the math Grade 5 SOL? I’m curious if it was just a pilot for some schools since I never saw an announcement about the change in the curriculum from FCPS.

where was this announced? i have a current 5th grader who will take 6th grade math SOL. and a current 4th grader. they will take 4th grade sol this year? this goes into effect next year?
