Also, look into edibles. Smelling like weed is tacky.

Wow a bit defensive aren’t we?
No one said drinking 5 gins at a BBQ is fine. That does not change the fact that pot is a low class drug and yes, it would change my opinion of these moms.
I don’t hear that parent being defensive. You have no idea if they use any pot products.
I am definitely seeing the hypocrisy of wine and beer ok, weed not! Honestly alcohol is pretty debilitating and yet there is not being a question of a wine soaked weenie roast.
different poster than you’re responding to
I don’t drink, do marijuana, or do any other drugs. While I certainly don’t think adults should be getting drunk around kids, an adult drinking in moderation around kids doesn’t bother me as much as someone smoking marijuana around kids, because (as I indicated in my earlier post), secondhand marijuana smoke is dangerous to everyone exposed (and children are particularly vulnerable because their brains are still developing). I’ve never heard of someone getting secondhand drunk because their sitting next to a drinker.
I think the issue of class is irrelevant. I don’t see anything particularly sophisticated about impairing your own mental processes with any chemical, so I have no idea what a high class drug would be. I think addiction is present in every income bracket and social level.
