Per that link it's 24%, medicaid and chip.
And if you are totally disabled lying on a bed at a nursing home age 80, you aren't going to be able to get a job.
If you are 8 months old, you aren't going to be able to get a job.

Per that link it's 24%, medicaid and chip.
The article says it's 24% at 264,000 but the population of DC is 690,000 so that's 38% which is a lot closer to 40%. Good old dem math. 1 in 4 or 4 out of 10, regardless it's a huge number. Get a job.

If only there were some way that a government could ensure that people who are able to work, but not able to find and hold a job in the private sector, could do some sort of work to improve the nation.

Illegals are generally not eligible. The work around is that hospitals are. Illegals go to hospitals for their medical needs. The hospitals are obligated to treat them.

Hold on. In most states, only citizens can get Medicaid, unless it is a life saving emergency, then it’s very limited.
