Just know - it’s not a long drive. If our first year was going through something, or had an event, we went. All will be well.

I think it’s better to visit them (if they want) than for them to come home. They need to be there.

My dd came home more fourth year, mostly because she had interviews but also missed the dogs etc.

honestly why would anyone college age want to make such a long drive regularly unless they were getting laid
