The 250th birthday of the US Army seems like a big deal to a lot of people and many are glad it is being appropriately recognized. There are actually almost 3 weeks of events with the parade being just one event.


It IS a big deal. Too bad that Trump is co-opting the Army’s planned celebrations to do something very different centering himself.

Plus, with the Nats in town that has to mean a few thousand additional ticket sales. Seems like a financial win, no?

Probably a combo of Trump supporters and military enthusiasts. Every air show I’ve been to has been sold out, so there definitely a huge market out there. Could be big numbers on a normally slowish weekend.

You are missing the waste of our government spending $45 million on this. You’re missing the fact that America doesn’t do dear leader military parades. You are missing the road damage that DC will have to repair after it.
