LOLOL. You don’t honestly believe that, do you??
Wholeheartedly! And I predict the republicans will take their party back and make maga a third party.

They are NOT wimps. They will go scorched earth on MAGA.
Yes, we are wimps. “They go low, we go high”
Not working
Who is "we". The Dems have a clean slate with no party leaders after getting rid of Biden. We have no idea how strong the next Dem leader will be but they'll inevitably be stronger than Biden.
The GOP is stuck with their unpopular elderly "leader" through at least 2029 and this gives a big time political advantage to the Dems in elections until at least 2029. Take advantage of the advantage this time!!

Anonymous wrote:Let's be optimistic and assume that MAGA and Republicans are kicked to the curb in 2028, after a disastrous four year run. Traditionally Democrats would "take the high road" and ignore malfeasance in the previous administration in the spirit of bipartisanship. But I would have a hard time seeing fascists like Stephen Miller skate free after trying to undermine the rule of law. What do you think would be an appropriate approach to "de-MAGAing" the US in 2029, and serving justice to those who are currently running amok in the Trump administration?

The right is really good at creating bogeymen and 'whatabouting' to project their misdeeds on to others, but at the end of the day, we have to believe that facts and law will win out, even if it is slow.
Ultimately though, I am in the camp that Trump is in office til he dies and there won't be meaningful elections in 2026 or 2028.
I’m not so sure that elections are over. Apart from the blowhards posting here, most Americans are not pleased with Trump’s actions to date. As inflation skyrockets and stuff becomes too expensive or scarce, Americans are going to be angry about the economy. Hard to stay in power on a bad economy.
