If you want to see what's likely to be the Best Musical Tony, see Maybe Happy Ending. Sweet Musical that wrestles with themes of love and mortality, small cast of four, strong performances by the main two, and excellent stage craft.
For a romp/spectacle, see Death Becomes Her. Comedy romp and spectacle, large cast, great chemistry between its two leads, both if which are Tony nominated.
Operation Mincemeat is a west end transfer, British Comedy/history musical, cast of 5 playing multiple roles, Jak Malone is the favorite for Best Supporting Actor in a musical. If you like Monty Python this might be a good one for you.
Supposedly the current Cabaret cast with Eva Noblezada and Orville Peck is fantastic. Cabaret has some heavy subject matter, particularly right now.
Picture of Dorian Grey is a one woman show, Sarah Snook is supposed to be very good in it.
I second most of this. Maybe Happy Ending is so good. Sitting center orchestra is best. Avoid side orchestra especially near the front.
Orville Peck and Eva Noblezada are very good in Cabaret, but I'm not personally a fan of the show. If you are, this is a great cast and staging.
