The administration handled the situation by investigating based on a tip from a student, removing the student from class, and with police, disarming the student. No one was injured. And an entire school community was not traumatized by believing they were in an active shooter situation. It was really well handled without the lockdown. As a WJ parent whose child was in school that day, I am extremely grateful to the administration for how they responded.
