Every mid-priced brand I shop at I have to be very picky to find anything even remotely decent.
There's a whole passel of reasons, and they all started in the late 80s/early 90s and will only get worse.

I have found some really good pants that have held up at White House Black market. I usually get tops at Nordstrom, Banana Republic, J.Crew.
