Do you mind the occasional murder or shooting?

Weirdly large driveways are common in south Arlington though I could never find out why.

to accommodate 8 work trucks

Less than a week later, and almost every house in 22205 that is under $2M is under contract or contingent. I am shocked, as I expected more slowing of sales. Obviously I am wrong.

And yet the two hideous houses posted in this thread are still for sale. So at least buyers are being somewhat discerning.

This is a weird one, looks like they’ve been trying to sell it since 2021 with a series of price drops (and one price increase?!) over the past few years.

Plus the listing facts say 900 feet which is clearly an error.

It says 12 minutes right now, and it’s slow over the bridge. So not to far off.

It’s a fantastic neighborhood, close community, and Ashlawn really is a gem.

Right that’s why people I’ve out of there in droves or go to ats.

No one is moving out of Dominion Hills, Boulevard Manor, etc., in droves and transferring to ATS. Ashlawn is a sought after Elementary School zone. And the neighborhoods, with two private pool clubs, are highly sought after.

ATS happens to be within walking distance (both the former and current school locations) so that may explain some transfers

Very high teacher retention rate too.

LOL, buy an ugly house and then try to "landscape" it. It's better just to find an attractive house.

Another hideous house. Look at that house on street view, yikes.

Look at 22203 22205

I was gonna recommend 22203 and 22205 as well. I recently saw some really nice houses around the same price zoned for Ashlawn > Swanson > WL.

You can't even park in 10 minutes at the Wharf!
