The good - Blue Ivy has talent. I don't get people who say she can't dance or she's just okay. For a 13 year old, I'd say she's pretty good.

The bad - she does look way older than 13. I'd rather see kids be their age a little bit longer and not be so pushed into looking older/growing up. But she will be protected by her parents' fame and money. I hope she turns out to be a not messed-up adult.

The ugly - there is no ugly. Blue Ivy is a pretty girl.

There is something deeply wrong with those of you tearing into the performance of a 13 year old. Get help.

She’s never going to be a normal kid. Her parents are two of the most famous people in the world and she is growing up in a fabulously wealthy bubble. I think it’s impossible for kids like that to have a “normal” (like us) upbringing.

Michelle Obama has talked a lot about how hard she worked to give her kids as much of a normal life as possible.

I noticed this too, she does not look 13. Then I recall thinking Beyoncé looked well into her 20s when Destiny’s Child debuted and she was only 17, so perhaps its genes. That being said, Blue Ivy came across as very poised and thoughtful when doing promo for the Lion King last year. I think her parents are raising her with intention beyond the goal of nepo-baby.

Everything that has to do with the entertainment industry has been completely supervised by her mother. I think she is fine.

I doubt they force her on stage and it’s probably something she wants to do. I genuinely think it’s just a cool thing she wants to do with her mother and it teaches discipline with all of the rehearsals and confidence.
