This is (part of) the answer. The other part is find a better coffee. There are so many choices of good coffee with different flavor notes.

Please share any coffee that you recommend. I hate bitterness.

If you ask 20 people for the best coffee you’ll get 20 different answers. 🙂

Coffee is a very personal taste. All I can suggest is to try a lot of different ones. For black coffee, I would not try Starbucks as, for me, it tastes overly processed and more bitter. Maybe try a local coffee shop. You’ll have to work at it a bit as you’re coming from a sugary coffee experience to hardly any. If you like the “coffee” taste, start with a medium dark roast and go from there.

This stuff is delicious and has some nutritional value. It's got a fair amount of calcium and a little protein. It has sugar but not a crazy amount if you're just doing a splash. It also makes the BEST overnight oats if that's your thing.

I agree. Most creamers are oily and insanely sweet. It's so gross. Just use milk or cream or half and half. I like whole milk for this. The organic version lasts forever, but even if you had to buy a quart every week, it's much cheaper than any "creamer".

I really like the Silk brand oat milk creamer. It’s the one I can use the actual serving size and get that “coffee shop” taste.

Almond milk is delicious, comes both sweetened and unsweetened, and does not spoil easily.

Heavy cream. Lasts forever in the fridge as there is no lactose (sugar) in it, just pure fat.

I used to use heavy, but light works just as well. I used to add eight packets of sugar to a 16oz coffee, and now when my husband puts in 2 packet when we’re traveling )because he forgot)it’s way too sweet.

Eight packets omg
