I nannied in college, driving the kids around was a huge part of my job. I even drove my employer's car (it was a Volvo, which I'm sure they figured was a lot safer than my 15 year old Camry).

Would love to have an option like this during the regular school year. Has anyone found a college student able to do this?

We did but she started sitting for us in HS and it transitioned. She’s at CC now so local and drives DD twice a week to soccer and back.

It's really varies and down the individual in our experience. We prefer to have college student accompany on Uber or public transportation.

I was an Au Pair in Maryland driving kids around when I was 18.5. I had never even driven in my own country as we get DLs at 18 there.
The highways were quite intimidating. Hated the big Ford Aerostar too. Super easy if I had been driven to the location before.
